Nandini works on frequency comb based metrology and spectroscopy. She worked on the forefront of demonstration of highly accurate long distance measurement using femtosecond frequency combs in close collaboration with the Dutch Metrology Institute (VSL). Her current research focusses on non-invasive medical devices ranging from optical detection of pulsatile flow in presence of motion induced artefacts to human breath analysis for detection of biomarkers. She has led projects in development of photonic components in healthcare. She also works at the Biomedical Engineering group at Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam.
